Brækhus lawyers recognised among Norway’s leading legal practitioners
In this year’s survey conducted by the Norwegian Financial Newspaper, Brækhus lawyers are recognised as leading specialists in technology and digitalisation, international matters, IP and retail, as well as restructuring and insolvency.

Christoph Morck is ranked as the country’s seventh leading international lawyer, while Stein E. Hove is ranked fifth on the list of the country’s best lawyers in technology and digitalisation.
Julius Berg Kaasin achieves two placements in this year’s survey. He is ranked tenth among the country’s leading lawyers in IP and seventh in retail. Audun Kleppestø is ranked fourth among the country’s promising talents in restructuring and bankruptcy.
Brækhus lawyers get recognition in 8 categories in the Annual Lawyer Survey
For the 25th year in a row, Kapital’s lawyer survey acknowledges the leading Norwegian lawyers and firms in a number of categories, and Brækhus’ lawyers are recognised as some of the country’s leading lawyers in their field of expertise.
Christoph Morck is ranked as the country’s sixth leading International Lawyer. Stein E. Hove is ranked number nine on the list of the country’s best lawyers within Technology and Digitalisation, and Christian Bendiksen is ranked fourth on the list of “Promising Talents” in the same category. Frank C. Aase ranks tenth on the list of the country’s leading lawyers within Restructuring and Insolvency, and he also ranks 1st on the list of the country’s most “Promising Talents” within Banking and Finance.
Just like Frank C. Aase, Julius Berg Kaasin receives acknowledgments in two categories in Kapital’s Annual Lawyer Survey. He ranks 1st as the country’s most “Promising Talent” within Retail Law, and he also ranks second on the list of “Promising Talents” within Intellectual Property. Audun Kleppestø ranks fourth on the list of the country’s most “Promising Talents” within Restructuring and Insolvency.

Eight Brækhus lawyers recognised in Finansavisen’s annual lawyer survey
Eight Brækhus lawyers are recognised as some of Norway’s leading lawyers in this year’s annual lawyer survey carried out by Finansavisen.
Christoph Morck, who primarily works with cross-border M&A, company law and construction, is ranked as number four in the category of Norway’s leading international lawyers. Stein E. Hove is ranked as number seven on the list of the country’s leading lawyers within Technology and Digitalisation. Frank C. Aase and Thomas Andersen are recognised as being among Norway’s top ten lawyers within the fields of Banking and Finance and Real Estate, respectively.
In the category “Up & Coming” Frank C. Aase and the newly promoted partner Audun Kleppestø are recognised within Restructuring and Insolvency, Christian Bendiksen within Technology and Digitalisation, Marcus Lindstrøm within Construction and Eirik Espenes within Real Estate. All are improvements from last year’s survey.

Brækhus is delighted to announce three new promotions. Audun Kleppestø is promoted to Partner, Line Juuhl to Associate Partner and Alexander Mollan is promoted to Senior Lawyer, with all titles taking effect from January 1st, 2021.
– 2020 has been a challenging year for many industries. It is motivating that Brækhus is doing so well despite the challenges caused by Covid-19. Kleppestø and Juuhl started in Brækhus in 2019. Kleppestø came to Brækhus from SANDS and has held the position of Associate Partner. He is specialised in insolvency and restructuring, insurance law, and financing. He also works with company law related matters, including board responsibilities and general contractual matters. Juuhl started as Senior Lawyer. She came from the position as Partner at Andersen & Bache-Wiig and is a specialist within inheritance planning and division of inheritance and generational change. Juuhl has extensive international experience, particularly with the division of inheritance matters related to Norway – Spain.
Internal promotions: Alexander Mollan, Line Juuhl and Audun Kleppestø
Mollan started as an Associate in Brækhus in 2015 and has since been promoted to Lawyer and now Senior Lawyer. He specialises in technology and IT, and works with matters related to commercial IT contracts, cybersecurity, licensing, and cloud services, and with major IT projects and procurements. Mollan was on a secondment from Brækhus to Capgemini in the period 2018-2019.
Audun, Line and Alexander are very skilled lawyers. During their time in Brækhus, they have contributed to excellent results for the clients. All three have deep and broad competence in their respective field of law and business acumen, and they are trusted advisors to their clients. The promotions are important acknowledgments of their experience and competencies, and the added value they bring to the clients. The Lawyer Survey 2020: Brækhus achieves rankings in seven categories
Brækhus is pleased to announce that we have achieved rankings in seven categories in this year’s annual lawyer survey conducted by the business newspaper Finansavisen.
Several of our highly talented lawyers are recognised as some of the best in their respective field of practice. The head of Brækhus’ international desk, Christoph Morck, is ranked as one of Norway’s foremost international lawyers, while a number of our lawyers are ranked as “Up & coming”.
