Benedicte heads Brækhus' real estate department and has extensive experience in real estate law, with particular strength in transactions, commercial leasing, property development and strategic advisory. She assists Norwegian and international clients across the entire value chain, from acquisitions, disposals and structuring to asset management, development and value realisation.

Benedicte has broad transaction experience and advises clients at every stage of the process, including structuring, due diligence, negotiations, drafting of transaction documents and completion. She combines legal precision with strong commercial acumen to deliver effective solutions.

Within commercial leasing, Benedicte advises landlords and tenants on the negotiation, execution and management of lease agreements across all types of commercial property. She has significant experience with complex lease arrangements, including fit-out works, subletting, assignment, renegotiation, default, termination and disputes.

Benedicte has particular expertise in development projects throughout the entire value chain, from land acquisition and option agreements to land structuring, securing rights, corporate organisation, sectioning, re-sectioning and registration of title.

She also holds specialist expertise in ESG and sustainability within the real estate sector, advising clients on how national and international sustainability requirements can be integrated into contractual frameworks, transactions, lease arrangements and operational processes.
