Brede A. Haglund has considerable experience with commercial contracts in several sectors, and particularly in the field of IT and technology. From his previous employment positions, Brede has acquired a valuable knowledge of business economics, how to protect company commercial interests, as well as risk analyses for various projects. He is the Key Account Manager for Norsk Tipping and is responsible for the tender phase of our key account, Capgemini. Brede is also an advisor for the Capgemini Big Deals team, which negotiates major IT agreements in Norway.
Brede has expertise in Norwegian and international tax law, corporate law, public procurements, and EEA law. He has considerable experience with major procurements subject to public procurement laws and regulations, as well as practical experience with relevant issues and decision-making processes related to such procurements.
Since he began his practice in 2008, he has assisted service providers in the gambling industry and professional oddsmakers and poker players who want to ensure that their tax affairs with the Norwegian tax authorities are in order. Through this work, he has developed expertise on laws related to the gambling market, as well as taxes and legal aspects of the EEA.
Brede has been recommended by the Legal 500 in its ranking of lawyers in the TMT sector. He was also ranked by Who’s Who Legal in the category of Sports and Gaming, as one of only two Norwegian lawyers in this category.
