Norwegian chapter in The International Comparative Legal Guide: Gambling 2024

Norway boasts some of the strictest regulations for online casinos and gambling in Europe, and 2023 will be a notable year in the field of Norwegian gambling law. Partner Brede A. Haglund and Senior lawyer Alexander Mollan have contributed to the Norwegian chapter on gambling in this year’s edition of the prestigious publication The International Comparative Legal Guides.

The chapter covers common issues in gambling law and regulations in Norway, including, relevant authorities and legislation, application for a licence and licence restrictions, online/mobile/digital/electronic media, enforcement and liability, and anticipated reforms.
