Hjørdis Larsen has extensive experience with legal issues related to cross-border employment relationships for both Norwegian companies with employees stationed abroad and foreign companies with employees in Norway. She assists Norwegian and international clients by providing general advisory services, assistance with tax reports, employer obligations, immigration regulations, preparation of secondment policies for international assignments, net salary schemes and other related areas. She also works on cases regarding cessations of tax residence and the avoidance of double taxation. Hjørdis has expertise in the taxation of seafarers and employees on Norwegian and foreign soil.
She handles appeals to Norwegian tax authorities and NAV on behalf of companies and private persons. Hjørdis leads and coordinates projects and collaborates with international tax advisor networks.
She has previously worked for Norwegian tax authorities and as an internal advisor for global mobility in major Norwegian companies. In addition, Hjørdis is a member of the Norwegian Tax Appeal Board.
