Antonio Holstad has more than 30 years of experience with international taxation. During his career, he has worked in larger tax environments for both public and private companies, and has held leading positions at the Norwegian Tax Administration and EY.
He has expertise in the area of international taxation, with particular emphasis on foreign companies and their employees and business operations in Norway, as well as Norwegian companies established abroad, including secondments of personnel. He also assists in international aspects of issues related to employment law, social security, pension and inheritance settlements. Furthermore, he has conducted several international probate processes, particularly in Spain.
With a central role in Brækhus' Family Office team, Antonio and the team assist individuals and families in preserving and transferring wealth between generations in an efficiently and tax-efficient, often across borders.
Antonio is an author for IBFD on the subject of Norwegian personal income taxes, and he has held a number of courses for the Norwegian Bar Association. Antonio is a board member of the Spanish-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, and he is fluent in Spanish as well as English. He is the primary contact person in Norway for the Crowe Global accounting and auditing network and for United Tax Network.
