Fredrik Heslien assists Norwegian and international companies with legal matters related to real estate. He has experience from a student position as a legal consultant at The National Federation of House Owners in Norway (Huseierne), where he guided individuals and housing companies in legal questions related to housing and real estate.

Fredrik completed an extended master's thesis (60 credits) as Research Assistant at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, working on the project "Expropriation and Real Estate Law" under The Research Group for Natural Resources Law. His thesis focused on the "avgi" requirement in Article 105 of the Norwegian Constitution, with particular emphasis on the significance of the transfer element for the right to full compensation after regulation or expropriation of property. The thesis was published by Sjørettsfondet in MarIus No. 582.

In addition, he has elective subjects in expropriation law, construction law and international commercial law.
