Elisabeth Ohm is Head of IP at Brækhus and leads the firm’s intellectual property practice. She has more than 20 years’ experience advising Norwegian and international businesses on strategic counselling, enforcement and commercialisation of intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on international markets.

Elisabeth has extensive experience in patent and trade mark matters, including litigation before the courts. She has held senior positions at the Norwegian Industrial Property Office’s Appeals Board (KFIR), and at Acapo and Onsagers she held several key roles, including Head of the Patent Department.

Elisabeth is internationally recognised within intellectual property law and is ranked in IAM Strategy 300 – Global Leaders, as well as recommended in IAM Patent 1000. She is strongly committed to her field and works actively to enhance Norwegian businesses’ understanding of intellectual property rights in an international context.
