Andrea Svensson assists Norwegian and foreign employers and employees with employment law issues. She has a background from the Juristforbundet, where she worked with collective labor law for lawyers and attorneys in the private sector. Additionally, she has served as a legal case handler in the employee organization Norges Farmaceutiske Forening, where she focused on individual labor law.

In 2023, Andrea won the Norwegian Association of Labor Law (NARF) prize for the best master's thesis addressing labor law issues. The topic of her thesis was the employer's duty to accommodate, specifically examining whether, and in what cases, the employer is obligated to offer reduced working hours as an accommodation measure, in light of the Supreme Court ruling in HR-2022-390-A (Widerøe). In 2024, Andrea published an article in the international academic journal Nordic Journal of Labour Law, where she further explored the topic of her master's thesis, with a particular focus on international legal sources.
